My step-dad used to have three cats. Unfortunately, a few months ago they discovered one of the cats have cancer. These cats are about the equivalent of 85. They had to put the cat down, and it was his favorite. I know it was hard on him.

Happy Easter.

I think I forgot to post about my curling iron wound on my fore head. It's healing but it keeps pealing. It looks like someone punched me with a ring on. I have come up with a few good stories about it.

Happy Easter everyone! We've had a relaxing day inside (raining). All 4 of us fell asleep on our couch and love seat. That was 3 of us on the couch. Church this morning, big ham dinner tonight. Hope you had a nice day!

Same here rkb.....although not really raining...we got enough sprinkles to wet the pavement and now it's more like heavy misting....I'll take it though. We went to church last night then had big ham dinner early this afternoon. Girls are all back at school and we just finished watching The King's Speech (again, this time with DS) sprawled all over the sofa. Now it's picking-at-leftovers time for the male species in the house.

Hope everyone had a lovely day....

Today, I added another bullet point to my "why we'll never have a trampoline in our yard" list! The kids were on it for less than 10 minutes at my brother's house and my daughter wound up I'm the ER She broke her humerus and is in a sling for eight weeks. I feel so bad considering all the fun things she had planned to do- she's especially upset that she can't play soccer- it would've been her first year. Plus, what fun is it to be 7 years old and spend spring/summer in a sling, with limited things you can do?!

It was mainly my fault, I know, but man, what an a bad way to start out the warm weather season!
