Thankfully we dodged a major bullet last night, we had a wild night, but were spared the worst of the storm. So many people lost their lives last night, my heart goes out to them and their families. It must be especially heartwrenching for the families of the University of Alabama students, most of whom have no idea where their kids are.
Hopes - I am so sorry to hear about your friend. What an awful situation.
I'm about to be driving through all that.
My grandmother is super worried but I'm not. I have lived in the south for 12 years, I know the weather and I know how to handle it, plus I am nearly 22 years old and have never seen a tornado, probably never will, there was one that hit my town like 2 years ago, HUGE TORNADO, just massive looking from the pictures, and I was at water world...my mom and brother got to see it but I didn't.
My grandmothers been keeping me pretty updated on everything.
On a more pleasant note...well kind of...I got a hair cut, I told the lady like 1 1/2 inches off, she took 4, but it still looks good but its VERY short.
Well that is a particualry stupid attitude txt. This is one of the worst storms ever. Over 200 people dead just yesterday and last night, and some of the tornadoes spawned were over a mile in diameter. Use some common sense for once.
200+ people died yesterday. DIED. Do you truly believe that they just didn't know how to handle the weather? How completely arrogant.
The tornado that was here 2 years ago was NOTHING. A few roofs got damaged. You really need to stop exaggerating things in your life if you want people to take you seriously.

Sorry folks. Just had to say it.
No need to say sorry - I was about to say the same thing. To exaggerate that tornado from a couple of years ago is ridiculous and just made me shake my head....
I hope everyone who is worried about loved ones finds out they are okay. Watching the news last night - just shocking. I need to call my sister - although she posted something on facebook a couple of hours ago, so I know she's okay.
