Yes, The Sperminator is a giant douche. I guess he doesn't suffer from the major side-effects of steroid-overuse (dropsy and shooting blanks)! Vilest part of the cluster is that one of the women was working in their home for the last 10 years, how disrespectful to the Mrs?

As for her knowing or not knowing? Who knows. My father was a serial cheater. My parents were married for 54 years, and he had long-term mistresses for most of that time, the longest of which was probably 20 years. Quite bizarre. My mother would fluctuate between denial and anger. My sister and I were nervous after his death that offspring would appear and claim inheritance (they didn't).

DH knows that philandering is a Bobbit-worthy offense in my universe. Simple rule, have the decency to end things before moving on to the next.

This was the quote that was the worst IMO:

Robach wondered how his parents felt about his getting a prescription to boost his grades.
“It’s like a ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ kind of thing,” he said. “They don’t wanna know. They’re paying for that report card.”

That's horrible!

You know, I'm pretty loosey goosey and easy going with most stuff, but this one I absolutely agree with, and it's something I've always abided by.

And yes, Bobbit-worthy indeed. Hopefully without the chance for a second career as a porn star.

Sorry, Zimbo. It must have been difficult growing up with those circumstances.

I can't figure out how Arnie got away with it for so long. I suspect people were paid off to keep their mouths shut. In that town (H'wood) people talk. Waitresses call TMZ. I'd heard for years about him being touchy feely on sets but never anything of this magnitude. Even I was surprised and it takes a lot to make me go where celebrities are concerned.

Thanks Dew. Many families face challenges, ours wasn't perfect, but it could have been much worse. I was very angry in my youth, but I had to let that go and choose to live my own life.

Good for you Zimbo....I think that right there is the key to adulthood - letting go of that sort of thing..Not to say forgetting it by any means- but letting go of the things that are over and done - they can't be changed so you/we decide to simply move past it. Whatever "it" is for each of us. There are some around here who could use that tidbit of wisdom.

Starting to think the OP of the "my good kid went to a party and wrecked our car" thread might either belong under a bridge or is tossing out scenarios for a book.....In various threads she claims to either have 3 teens or 5 young kids as well as a few other inconsistencies....
