I only discovered Bravo last year! I didn't realize I had channels over 100. It's like I live in a cave sometimes.

On and off, I watched NYC housewives last year and then some episodes of Bethany Gets Married.

I am off to bed. Long day. DD woke up with a fever and told us she threw up in the middle of the night. For some reason, she thought the best place to do that was UNDER HER BED all over her stuffed animals. This was only her second time ever of physically getting sick, so it did worry me a bit. Her fever completely disappeared before school and she said she was feeling fine and didn't wnat to miss her last day of Kindergarten so we sent her to school. She was fine all day, but she had a slight fever right before bed tonight. Ugh. I hope it is some tiny bug that will be gone by morning.

Good Morning All! How is everyone today?

We survived our first swim meet of the season despite it being 105 with a low of 95 by 10 pm! The kids did well. Now we are getting ready for a camping trip this weekend with the same weather forcast. It's going to be interesting to put it mildly. My son and I are special snowflakes with delicate skin, so this is heat rash weather for us. Yuk!

Morning Zimbo - glad you survived! That is hot!

95 at 10pm - wow. One thing about here is it usually cools off at night. Often times (depending on the allergy situation) even if it's been hot during the day, at night we can open the windows, turn on the whole house fan and cool things off. I love that about the climate here.

Have fun this weekend, hope the weather cooperates and you have a lovely time.

Morning MM - not much cooling at night around here. It's A/C from here on out.

I know that feeling. I am afraid of my power bill this month. The A/C is set at 82 and it hasn't stopped running yet. We are lucky to get the house down to 82 at night. During the day, our A/C runs constantly and it rarely gets down to 85.

We didn't have cooling at night either, Zimbo.

Thankfully, our week long heat wave in the 90s broke today.

I'm actually chilly! It's 65. I think the high is in the low 70s today.

But it's a short lived break. We're back in the 90s on Saturday.

I'm a special light skinned snow flake too. I hope you can find a stream to sit in when you're camping!

Yesterday 90 during the day here.....49 at night....

I need to remember to water my plants this morning before I head to work. Potted plants outside need to be watered frequently (every day or every other day usually) or they'll dry out in a heartbeat. I also need to keep watering the newly transplanted hostas until they get more established. They are in an area of the yard that the sprinklers don't get.

Everyone should be home today. Yay! Got another graduation party to attend this weekend. Looking forward to that. Will get to catch up with people I don't see to often anymore.

We haven't turned on the AC yet. We try to suffer through the first half of Summer. It's partly financial (on hubby's part) and partly so we can aclimate to the hotter weather (on my part). It takes a while for my body to adjust to new temperatures. If we used the AC early in the year, I wouldn't leave the house all summer because my body wouldn't be able to handle the heat.

I'm jealous. When it's in the 90s here, it often only goes into the 70s and 80s at night and sometimes it doesn't cool off at all
