Okay - I just looked out a few windows and couldn't see the moon and I'm too lazy to go outside.
I'll take everyone's word that it was worth it. Long day. And...I just did a Karate Kid on a fly - although DH said it was because the kittens had already caught it a few times and slowed it down. They have been having a blast chasing this fly around all evening. And all the dust in here - they are gray kitties right now, not black. Fingers crossed our guy finishes up the main floor tomorrow, but don't think so.....
Jk.... were there chopsticks involved in the demise of the fly? LOL though at DH saying the fly was slowed down by the kitties....just like when we finally open the jar they've been trying to open they claim to have loosened it up for us....
Someone take a picture and post it! I'm too tired to wait for the moon....I do love a good full moon though! (You are right mm - that does sound weird!).
Oh - I meant to share DD's "haircutting" story - She was probably 4 or 5....we took the kids up to jkcoop's neck of the woods to a Pumpkin Patch in the fall (it is gorgeous up there and it was a perfect fall day). DD was riding one of those pony rides where they sit on the Shetland pony and go around in a circle...as I watched DD go by I realized a big chunk of her hair was missing from one side. It hadn't been completely obvious because it was kind of "underneath" and we had been rushing, then they were in the back in their carseats....but once I saw her from the side and sitting still, I noticed it easily! Turns out a neighbor girl had "helped" her cut her hair. When we got home, took her to one of those cheap haircut places and had it cut - she looked just like the Little Dutch Boy....
I see the moon now. Very bright. I think every family has a hair cutting story. I found a lock of my younger son's hair hidden in a corner behind the garbage can. Older son had cut it. They were probably 2 and 4. Fortunately it wasn't very obvious.
