Has anyone read this? Thinking of downloading it for my trip.

It is sad. As I was typing that, I was thinking that I will sit him down and teach it to him. I'll get an apple pie and a big clock with hands. Digital clocks weren't common when we were growing up. Apparently his father eventually learned how to tell time. That tells me that TK can learn these things if someone takes the time. Could you imagine him asking a boss something like that? Things like this are why I'm conflicted.

Edited to add: He didn't slip through the cracks. The school passed him along on purpose. (He was diganosed with ADD, which I strongly think is a misdiagnosis.) When he graduated a few weeks ago, his grandmother called him to give him some money as a gift. He said to me, "I don't know what the big deal is. All I did was finish 12 years of school. It wasn't hard." The district dumbed down his education. I believe he may still qualify for some type of help, but he's not interested in anything school related.

But I'm someone who avoids anything Hitler related. I haven't seen any of the movies, like Schilder's List.

I just can't bring myself to read/watch that stuff.

Morning all!

Guess I have a lot of catching up to do! I've been reading the Mattie thread but when I left off yesterday, all was good. The weddings over - how bad can it get?

Anywho - carpet done and we love it. We are going to try and start putting things back today, but not sure how far DS and I can get without hubby. Who by the way - sends me a picture of what he found in his hotel room last night when he got there - it was hilarious - Calvin Klein thong....

Needless to say, they gave him a new room, extra Marriott points, etc. While he was grossed out, it was also slightly funny, but apparently the manager didn't think so. DH says he was so mad he thinks someone got fired!

So that's the excitement around here.

Fin - I watch Master Chef! I have a thing for Ramsey too - I love the F Word. He's really a pretty down to earth guy when you see him with his wife and all those kids! I agree with you on the la tee da kid - there is something creepy about him.

It's probably deleted. I'll send you a short DM with details. Some troll posted in there this morning.

Yep! Julia is fast as lightening. I deleted my post in this thread because I don't think there should be public details about it. No need to give people ideas. OMGoodness.

I have a feeling we have Julia to thank for that. She is the greatest.
