Happy Birthday RBK. I hope I am not too late. I spent today finally getting rid of our 10 day house guest. She was supposed to stay for two nights!
Count me among those sorry not to have had the opportunity to put that college kid in his/her place. I encountered "senior day" at the grocery store. I love the elderly, and won't push past them, but they seriously added 2 hours to my $300. spending spree.
Still dealing with fall-out from the wedding. Since the bride and the MOH had a huge fight, I was told to delete the MOH from my FB account. Oh well, she seemed like such a nice girl, but not worth the drama that has embedded itself into my life.

oh boy. You are right that it is not worth the drama to not delete her, but I can't imagine telling my MIL who she can be FB friends with.

That's who I was thinking it was. I wouldn't feel too bad because she layed it on REAL thick for a while there. The same thing happened with Christina Ferrer. (John DeLorian's ex.) She was on local TV prior to his getting busted and everyone thought her life was all sunshine and roses. Including me. Then he got busted. She stood by him then BOOM kicked his behind out of the house the day after the verdict.
Don't feel bad. We all get taken in. ALL of us. That's part of what the MO is so they'll get you to turn in every morning.

Indeed. And prior to our lives becoming mirror images, I would never have been envious. But it was really my own insecurity that was doing it. I hate to say it, but I was tremendously relieved when I realized that it was not as wonderful as reported. Which is kind of mean. But it put a bit of perspective into place (too much effing perspective, to quote Spinal Tap).
The "demanding one" aka the bride. Saddest part is that the MOB felt it necessary to pass on the comments of the MOH to the honeymooning couple. If MOB ain't happy, ain't nobody allowed to be happy.
