I am OK, thank you for asking. I still get weepy when I think of her. So sad.

We had toyed with the idea of flying to L.A. last night. A friend was flying in and we were going to hitch a ride. But we got hit with a massive electrical storm so that took care of that. This morning is hot and muggy and more storms due.

Hi, txt. Hope you start feeling better. Aloha everyone!

Thanks I really hope I start feeling better, my mom just told me that if I get my brother is, she's kicking me out because if he misses one day of school this year they'll kick him out and send him to an alternative school because my mom hasn't been making him go to school. He starts school the 8th.

That's about what I spend a week. It blows my mind to hear others are feeding four people on less than $75/week.

I guess this is just proof that you should consider the source of advice on food budgets---I'm apparently wasteful! LOL

txt: Possible you'll get kicked out of the house? Yippee! The chance you've been waiting for to get away from all the insanity and start your new life as an independent woman. Yay.

TK update.

He is saving his money and has found two friends to be roommates.

He has a good chance at successfully supporting himself if he continues to make wise decisions.

Only four weeks left! Yeah, I'm counting the days!

Good news Hopes!

(How you do it, I do not know. Hopefully TK will be in your "success" column.)

Yes, that's great news, Hopes. You just never know what people are capable of. Good and bad! Thanks for hanging in there with him.

BBDad, good point. Whatever money she allocates will go to ramen and beer. Might as well be $75 to limit the beer consumption!
that's what I was thinking. I have trouble picturing a young college student (especially a male) buying fresh produce and actually coking meal.

no ove glove here.
