Isn't disc golf played with a frisbee? That's the way we always played.
I have those in a box as well. I'm sure yours are like the ones we have - the metal ones. I don't think they make them out of metal any longer.
Disc gold can be played with a frisbee, but technically, if you play it right , you have discs that are weighted differently. Sort of like different gold clubs.
Fin and ewag - hope you are okay! But don't answer until it's safe!
FR & Ewag, I hope you guys are ok. I guess I forgot to mentin the tornadoes that go along with hurricanes. They usually pop up after the hurricane passes though.
Check in when you can.
Ewag,
I would love to start the business, but decided to put that kind of thing on hold after the economy nosedived. People around here don't have the spare cash to hire someone to organize them any more. I love the feeling that you get right after you completely re-organize someone's stuff. Usually after things are re-organized people feel like all of their old stuff is new again.
Repurposing: I do love poking around in people's garages and piles of "junk" and showing them how to combine things to make an entirely new useful item.
I am getting really worried about you guys. I also need to stop reading about Irene because it is just making me more nervous. I have chewed off my fingernails thanks to you guys.
Be safe and watch out for the flooding.

Hey num - we're ok here. It was a bit hairy there for a minute, but it seems to have gone into a bit of a lull for a minute. We haven't had the worst of it yet though. I'm staying up, I don't want to be asleep if I have to get the family into the basement.

Stay safe guys. Our only natural disasters are earthquakes, so all that other stuff is very foreign to me.
Question. Do you ladies prefer music from the 50's, 60's, or 70's? For me, I think it depends on my mood. 50's music is very let's get up and dance, 60's is just very upbeat, and 70's is all anti-war and drug music. I have stations for each one on my Pandora page. I think it's neat how music back in those days really reflected society. These days it's all the same drivel.
None of those stations are homework stations, though. I listen to my Rammstein for when I'm doing homework.
I fell asleep on the sofa. Hubby rudely awakened me, sending me to bed because I was supposedly snoring. Not possible. I don't believe him.
