Here's the first line of the OP:

My parents are 68 and 65. my mother has many medical problems, she is a cancer survior, 6 years out. yay!!,, She and my dad are tough, but, I see their health failing day to day...

The cancer, I get. My daughter got melanoma at age 14 (probably younger, that's when she had the surgery) on a place where the sun doesn't shine. S*** happens. But a person of 65-68 should not be in obvious failing health that gets worse on a daily basis.

It happens. Not everyone gets the gift of health.

For those that can't understand taking care of a parent or loved one with bad health: count your blessings because you have NO idea how difficult it is. The OP needs help and understanding. Not a lecture on, "Well MY parents are 92 and they're just fine. What's wrong with YOUR parents that they got sick? They obviously did something wrong." There are thousands and thousands of reasons why people get sick. Many of them have nothing to do with diet or working out or the moon being in Mars when they were born.

Please. Compassion.

If you're talking to me, you're barking up the wrong tree. I've been there, done that, and I've never said the above in bold.

The OP does not say how her parents' health is failing daily. Some of us are questioning if this is really the case. She doesn't say what they need, from her perspective anyway. Just because someone has hit their 60s, that doesn't mean they are in failing health. They may not be doing some of the activities they did in their 40s, but that doesn't mean their health is failing.

I wasn't talking to you. Sorry. I actually enjoy your posts.

Had someone else in mind. I should have copied IT to respond. My bad, my error.

Good grief, I'm glad some of your parents are doing great at 92.

I will not turn here again. Thanks, and just for FYI, my parents are GOLD. Never mean, or had a cross word while I was around to anyone. Paid their bills, worked their jobs, go to church, and do all that a model citizen probably should, so they did nothing to deserve anything to fail, it's life I know. I ask for ideas to help me help them, not for people to insinuate that for some reason they are bad.

Having said that, i do appreciate the nice and understanding replies I have received and to mention the very sweet DM's I have gottenon this subject. Prayers are always appreciated.
