People have problem kids...but they know those kids are "special" by age 5, I had one myself. The issue with problem kids it that it is so much work to deal with them, parents just keep giving into their tantrums, thinking that is easier. No, it just empowers the child and makes them more unmanagable. Then, by the time they are teens, they are completely out of control--and when parents 'try' to exert any type of disciplne, forget it, you are 10 years too late buddy!

Thus, the child here felt like she was in charge, and became enraged when she was corrected. She had never learned how to deal appropriaely with this before. So, she impusivly acts out, with no thought of consequences.

This story won't end here.

I'm having a hard time figuring out what type of "serious medical issue" the girl had when the Swat Team found her.

Wow! She refused to let him use the cell phone to call for help---he had to crawl to a neighbor's house! I hope he never takes her back into his life!

The courts should lock her up as adult for attempted murder!
