DH and I finally had a night out without our kids at a pretty nice restaurant and guess what? In the middle of our meal, they seat a table of six moms and their babies/preschoolers. Seriously? At 7.30 on a Tuesday night??? We moved- of course- as soon as the whining started. If you can't get a sitter, stay home.
Ahhhh Mimimomx3 no offense to you and I know you want to vent but I think the horse has been shot, hung, stabbed, chlorofoamed, nuked, made into glue and what ever imagination you may have in killing a horse has been done in this thread: //www.city-data.com/forum/paren...an-update.html
Do we have to open up the same can of worms again?
Yes, I'm venting. I know....it's all been done before. I just don't think that new mommies realize that not everyone is into their baby.
I understand. Trust me I understand. Don't get why they do it but they do.
If money is no object try to go to higher end restaurants and usually ones geared towards social scenes. I guess more like NYC style restaurants like Schillers, Per Se, Eleven Madison Park and stuff....I don't know where you are but if you are going to Chili's, Applebees, and whatnot it is almost expected kids will be there.
you don't have to be "into" a baby to sit next to it at a restaurant.
If you don't want any kids around don't go out and eat early in the evening to a family restaurant. 7:30 is still not that late. Maybe they had a mommy and children evening out.
I bet you also complain when parents fly with their young children?
