We have two kids - one to replace me and one to replace my husband.

Default 3 in theory

I'm with Luckyduck,
I wanted 3 in theory. We have two boys and we are done. Our second born son is very active and demands a lot of our attention and energy. I consciously thought that if we had a third (and oh how I wanted a girl SO badly!!!!), that our second born son would end up being the scapegoat in our family. I still feel like there's something missing in my life with me not having a girl. However, I plan on being a kickass mother in law! I will spoil my daughters-in-law rotten.

1 child right now. 2 would be the limit. One of my best friends in college has four kids, all within 6 years of each other. I don't know how he does it. One toddler is a handful.

Default No kids yet, but

At least 2. 3 or 4 wouldn't be out of the question either!

We've one son. Actually I was hoping for a girl (those cute little skirts and ponytails, etc.) but I couldn't be happier without my Miguel. He's such a cutie.
I think he will be an only child. I'm an only child and I want to put all my energy and love into this child. Maybe my mind will change over the years - let's see.

We have two. I would love have one more but I think I'm too old now. I would also love to adopt a child but I cannot afford it.

I'm in your boat, mjb! I have three, but feel too old to try for another. Can't afford adoption, but I pray that will be a reality somitime in my future!

I could easily see myself with 4 or 5 kids.
