I wanna move out by the start of October.

I found some apartments in a neighboring town its $1,050 for a 3 bedroom, when split 3 ways it's only 350 per person a month, which is highly doable with the pay I have. It's a nice huge apartment and everything.

I rather not roommate with total strangers but then again all my friends are roommated up and I have no one.

Anyone have any ideas??
That seems pretty risky to me. I wouldn't want to be dependent on 2 other people making their rent every month. Be sure to always have at least a couple months of the full rent on hand in case they flake or lose their jobs, or whatever.

Yeah, it's risky, but it's not unusual. You just have to vet people properly, and make sure that they sign the lease too. It's a good idea to have rent backup, but honestly, I think txt needs to get on with it. If somebody flakes, get a new roommate. Nearly everybody has to go through this particular scenario until they can afford a place of their own. Make sure you have them pay the deposit of their part of the last month's rent, and security or whatever is required. Covers everybody in the event that someone flakes.

She sure does need to get on with it.

Txt's friends are "all roommated and she has none" because she dragged her feet getting her act together.

Now she needs to go the roommate-with-strangers route. Many people do it.

Yup, this is a right of passage. That is how DH and I met. We shared a house off-campus, and unbeknown to us the other housemate had blown all the money we had given to him for 3 months to pay for rent and utilities, and had instead spent it on women and wine. You live and learn. And I may have sobataged his computer!

Yes, but just that tiny, tiny issue of when the clean clothes come out of the dryer.....

I'm determined they will not sit in the basket!

What's for dinner tonight? Ideas! I need ideas!

It's just me and DS. Simple is best.

Maybe this is the night for homemade mac and cheese.
