Yes, I went to one and I think they should be mandatory until 18. You would see all kids starting to fare much better. It would improve the whole education system.

What a stereotype. Not true from what I've seen.

People in single sex environments desire the opposite gender because they are deprived of the expierence.

I went to a school that was all-boys catholic school in Chicago. A lot of them in Chicago are catholic. In my senior year my school went co-ed. A lot of other schools ended up being co-ed, while a few closed, because they couldn't continue to operate on their own, probably due to families opting for public school or just less kids...not sure exactly.

Most kids aren't deprived of socializing with the opposite gender as many of the guys there had girlfriends from other private and public schools.

I went to all-boys school from 6 to 18 years old. I wouldn't have had it any other way. The education was top notch, teachers were always on top of us and that kept us focused. Everyone guy I knew there went on to university. No drugs, guns or teen drama involved. ´

It was a very safe and stable environment, where respect was the motto. I would advise any parent to choose them.
