No one in my family will get this shot, ever.

I will not be taking any other immunization shots, ever. I have never had a flu shot and am in my mid-to-late fifties.

No, and neither will my daughters.
We are pretty pro-vaccines in general, but not this one.

This is quite sad to see as someone who had HPV that could of been prevented by the shot. It was too late for me but not too late for everyone else...

Hell yes.

The fear-mongering and ignorance surrounding this vaccine is alarming in the extreme.

Sorry Ohio, and I agree, it is very sad.

I will be getting it for myself and urging TG to get it as well and if/when I have kids and this vaccine is still around they will get it as well.

My mom had cervical cancer when she was pregnant with me, they told her it was me or her and she said me, the cancer was so aggressed that they had to take her straight into surgery and remove a portion of her cervix and told her she could never have anymore kids but 5 years later had my brother.

Knowing my mom had cervical cancer makes me which I had finished getting the shot BEFORE I became sexually active and I plan on getting it done very soon.

I read that it can prevent genital warts, which do not sound like fun, so protecting against cancer and genital warts sounds like a really important thing to do.
