I don't believe it is, if one plans to take care of the child. IMO, it's a whole lot more selfish to not get an abortion (just because you happen not to believe in it), let's say, if you know you'll leave the child for adoption. Your beliefs should not come before an innocent chld' life!

I see that. I just think that, ultimately, any decision regarding children is selfish. Most people decide whether or not to have them based on what THEY want and where they are in their lives. There's nothing wrong with it. That's just the way life is.

There are wonderful famlies waiting to adopt a child...you are giving the child a chance at life while aborting your child leaves them no chance of anything...but that's a whole other can of worms!I believe it's a choice everyone has the right to make...but placing your child up for adoption is not a selfish choice to make!!IMHO!

Well, sure... Nobody, including the "perfect" among us, got the future child's consent beforehand.

I wonder how many of those children would wish never to have been born?I don't don't know the answer to that...but an aborted baby has zero chance of a happy life.

WHY do you want a child so badly (not that there's anything wrong with it). Maybe you discussed why in another post ...
