We all sign waivers every week it seems for sports, field trips etc. Interesting and timely article about a controversial subject. What do you think?

I've signed dozens, I'm sure. It still wouldn't stop me from filing suit if I thought the school bore some responsibility through negligence. I understand the school has to do what it can to minimize financial risk too.

If the school contracted with a bus company with a horrible safety record, for example, just to save some dollars, I don't think any parental signature would cover them in court.
