Way to go, dad! (lawsuit, legally, parents, girl)

A 16-year-old Mandarin girl was asleep in her bed Tuesday morning with the window cracked to let some cool night air drift in.

But around 2:30 a.m., an ex-boyfriend came in with it...........

Her father went to her bedroom and found the man there.

He told the ex-boyfriend he had three seconds to get out of his house.

"What are you gonna do about it?" the suspect said, according to the report.

The girl's father then punched the man in the face and carried the suspect out of his house.

The kid's lucky all Dad had handy was his fist. I'd say Dad showed pretty good restraint.

In Texas if someone breaks into your home, they can be shot. Yes it was pretty good restraint on the Dad's part.

What the heck is wrong with that kid that he would ever think it was ok to enter a house in the middle of the night? He's luck trespassing is the only charge against him.

Glad Dad punched him... but also glad he stopped short of lethal force... God knows, the idiot kids parents would have filed a lawsuit against the Dad or something. Makes me wonder about our society sometimes...

What the heck is wrong with that kid that he not only breaks into a house but he smarts off at the father with, "What are you going to do about it?"
