OOOH! I am going to ask my husband to make samosas!
Yum! You lucky duck.
Not only do I want Thai food, but I want it Thai hot, not American hot or five year old hot, with prik num pla, and I want to finish off the last bit of curry in the bowl and not save it for anyone else, so there.
I'd love a couple hours in a spa...massage, facial, pedi, relaxation....whatever the $100 would buy me at the spa!!
But usually we go out to eat after church and come home and bum around the house, or do something in the city that's fun for everyone. Laid back day with all the time with my kiddos & I love it!!!!
Besides world peace and breakfast in bed (does anybody really like to eat Breakfast in bed?) what gift, say under $100 do you want for Mother's Day?
I know we all like a hand made card and a poem or drawing but I'm wondering what gadget, piece of jewelry, etc you are hoping for.
I personally want maid service to get my house **** and span and then maybe I will be able to keep up but I don't think I'm going to get it for less than $100. Besides that I would like a nice waffle iron- a complete luxury as far as I'm concerned but I've always wanted one and I'd like my kids to know that Eggos aren't real waffles.
No jewelry! But seeing as I was handed a small gold box from Kay's last night to hold onto until Sunday, I guess that is what I am getting.
Would have been happy with ice cream sundae (my mouth has been banded shut for the past few weeks, several more to go), a gift card for clothes or maybe a gift card for a massage or new hair style
I told my husband that I want the three of us to go to the movies. Weird, but I haven't seen a movie in long time. It's hard finding a movie we all can agree on.
An entire day of peace and quiet would be nice, but dh seems to think that Mother's Day should be about me spending even more time alone with the girls.
I would like a ring or pendant with each of my girls' birthstones. I never wear jewelry, so I doubt anyone will think to get me any.
What I will probably get is a hand made card from each of my daughters. One will be covered in glitter (6 year old), and the other will be some scribbles (15 month old). Dh might make dinner that night. maybe.
