I'm am an organic granola vegetarian who enjoys staying healthy. I like salads too and usually would not make anything like that really, and go for something a bit more palatable lol. But when sick it can reduce the time of the illness i have found.
Your drink sounds yummy to me! Just add some flax seed or chia seeds and a mint leaf and I would be all over that
I love being healthy too but I couldn't give up meat.
TG and I LOVE salads, we chop everything ourselves.
We grill everything or bake it, we never fry. We eat tons of veggies.
The both of us have lost a lot of weight since moving in together and starting to cook our own meals.
Tonight we're having lobster, dunno what sides yet.
There are enough meat subs and make the conversion easier then a lot of people think really. Lots of field roasts and such or wheat meat. Or stews with things like bulgar wheat or couscous etc.
It does taste gross but I have lymph nodes the size of grapes, my neck has been stiff and achy, aches and chills, and my throat is so sore it feels like it on fire and I have been coughing myself into gagging.
I took some nyquil around 1020am and didn't wake up until like 245, I didn't even sleep that well last night, my fever is gone, the aches are better and I haven't coughed in awhile.
I feel better, if I feel better I could care less how I got to feeling better.
I'm glad you feel better, whatever the reason, but nyquil doesn't make you better, it just lessens your symptoms temporarily.

Just like percocet doesn't make a broken bone heal faster but it sure does make the healing process a lot more tolerable.
Nothing makes you get over a cold faster but it sure is nice to have something to take to make it not such a drag, if its there to help why not use it?

I didn't say not to use it. I bought some at costco a couple months back.

I love meat. Soy can give much higher risks of certain cancers when consumed in certain forms, so we try to avoid it as much as possible. Many of the meat substitutes are made with the bad form of soy.

I agree. I try like hell to avoid soy for two reasons. I am a woman and I am hypothyroid. I wish soy wasn't in so many products from food to makeup
