Yup. Very true. Worked at a temp agency for a couple years off and on. Got a 90 day temp job and they hired me after that I love temp agencies, gives me a chance to learn the company and employees before im hired there.

I hate how you can only edit your post for so long *shakes fist*. Anyway i was going to say my friend niamh knits all the time and is usually showing us her work. She loves doing socks the most lol. But she also does cute cloth diapers, menstrual clothes and unpaper toilet paper and towels.

I consider myself to be fairly granola for living in the suburbs. We eat mostly whole food and make things from scratch. We have a vegetable garden. We plan to someday own a large piece of land on which we can have a large vegetable garden, fruit orchard, plenty of chickens, and mechanisms to help us be self-sufficient such as solar panels, a windmill, rain barrels, etc.

I still have quite a way to go before I could buy reusable toilet paper and pads!

That's very cool Julia. I'm with you on the reusable intimates though. Hell to the no.

Good question NEOhio, perhaps staying wasn't her call to make!

Thanks. I am considering one of those; my sister loves hers.

We just want to simplify and not consume as much. We'd like to live so that we produce more than we consume, and we want to consume only healthy things when possible. By this, I mean not only food, but also information, energy, resources, etc.

I am rambling. I am sick in bed and typing with one hand on my Nook. I think I jinxed myself when I told txtqueen I never get sick. My top suspects are 1) illness transmitted from some newly acquired pets, 2) violent reaction to red quinoa, and 3) obviously, zombie apocalypse.
