Hey Mel!How are you? Yep time is flying by here as well..... I have lots to do before Thanksgiving. Not ready to think of Christmas yet. Yikes. Pretty soon Spring tuition will be due...ouch. Then we're counting down to a summer wedding. I need everything to stopp for about 2 months while I catch up.
Haha, Mel! Indeed, that is what time is doing over here, as well. What's that saying? "The days are long but the years are short." Yup, that's where I live! How are you?
Re: the politics question, I am happier than I would be if things had gone differently, but still not particularly happy. Except my state rep. Love him.
Mornin' mm & ewag! Things are going just fine...really tolerable, you know. Hubby still doesn't have permanent employment, but for right now, I'm making enough to cover things nicely and he's getting necessary stuff done around here, so things are good.
Yep, just thinking that everything's shooting along so darn fast that I can't seem to catch my breath!! LOL We'll have a "family reunion" here just after Thanksgiving, so that'll likely mean 2 T-days, but again...it's all good and it's tolerable. You'd think that I'd be used to this time passing so fast, but I swear, it just seems to speed up, every day!
On politics? Yeah...it is what it is and I'm so caught up in what's going on in my own home and community, that I just don't have time to worry or debate politics. LOL Humans are resilient, one way or another, we'll make it through. It might take adjusting the way we're living, but then....that's what evolving is all about, isn't it?

To a child, Christmas can still seem like forever away, while a parent will notice that Christmas decorations went up in the stores on November 1 and think, "No, not yet!"

Yeah, I was going to say that sounds like something someone young and without kids would say. We're halfway through November and part of me still feels like 2012 started not that long ago.
Well I am still young, well younger than most people here, now,24. Perhaps your correct, I'll grow older and come back with a different answer.
