So what did you all do for Mother's Day? My husband made me French toast, and he and the kids went out and bought me some herbs (plants) and lettuces (seeds) for my garden.
We spent a quiet day at home, except for church. I got breakfast in bed and a steak dinner. I took a short nap, and we planted a veggie garden. We watched some precious home video of when the kids were 2 and a newborn. Cutest thing ever!
I also got to work in my garden today. There was a heck of a weed in it. I thought I had taken care of it, but this is the most persistent weed ever. And it was out there making weed babies. I had to go all shock and awe on it. I know it'll be back but maybe it'll leave my new plants in peace for a while!
“If there ever were a time, when we can truly sense the wondrous ‘interconnectedness of all beings,’ it is when we reflect on the elephants of Thula Thula. A man’s heart’s stops, and hundreds of elephants’ hearts are grieving. This man’s oh-so-abundantly loving heart offered healing to these elephants, and now, they came to pay loving homage to their friend.”
I'm all weepy, LOL.
