Just wanted to post. My kiddos and the neighbor kids had the thought to raise $$$ for the 'sick kids' at primary children's hospital. They sold homemade cookies, otter pops, and my store bought cookies to raise $$$.

They even rode bikes to homes in our neighborhood and spread the word. They raised almost $200 from $1 and 2 for $1 sales.

I know kids can bad, but, this is good.

Yes, but did they have a permit to sell those cookies?

In all seriousness though, that is a great story! I'm inclined to believe there are many more good kids out there than bad ones. Thanks for sharing!

Not to mention state board of health codes.

I agree - there are so many good kids out there . . . nice to hear something positive instead of always hearing the negative stories. Give those kids a big hug from the rest of us!

There are many good kids out there, people just tend to pay more attention to the ones that aren't good.

It's great that that your kids are doing something positive like this. My daughter did similar at her school last year and organized a food drive She went in and spoke with the principal herself and "sold" the idea to her. They raised a lot of food and I was so proud of her!

That is great to read. So many kids are great kids who do wonderful things, but it seems all we ever hear about are the bad ones. Thanks for sharing this, sounds like you have raised great kids.
