for those without FB it says "All I can say is I hope you are this hard to get into bed when you are 18" Mom holding young daughter on her lap. This goes for boys too of course.
Yeah, have to say I've never thought that. I am usually thinking "OMG, has anyone ever actually DIED of sleep deprivation?? PLEASE go to sleep so I can get an hour!"
As a Mother of 3 I have NEVER thought that but I never allowed my children to run my household either so when they went to bed they stayed in bed unless they were sick and needed to be held and tended to.

Well I certainly did hold my young children thinking "I hope you will grow up to respect yourself, not be mislead by some fast and smooth talking fool and I hope I do the best job possible as your parent to give you the tools to make good decisions." That is what this cartoon was saying to me.
And regarding "what they do in bed when they are 18", it certainly can be a perilous time for young people and college students. And it was very much a priority concern for me as I didn't stop being their loving and concerned mother just because they were 18.
