I agree. Which leads us back to the original question. Would you rather a healthy sex life or a life of watching porn because you ban them from sex....
I can tell you that when I was actively having sex in my teenage years, there really was no need for porn.. while it was risky behavior - it was normal. Porn isn't "normal"
Theres really no healthy sex life for a teen....I wouldn't want my kids to watch porn or have sex as teens but at the same time If they did, I wouldn't have any room to talk...LOL

Stopping a young teen (defined as 13-15 years old) from having sex will not mean they will not have a normal sex life later in life. A normal sex life is a good thing FOR ADULTS. It is not a good thing for young teens. This is not an either/or situation.
There isn't even an agreement from doctors about whether porn is addictive in the first place. So if the experts don't even agree on whether porn is addictive don't expect anyone else to agree. Just because porn causes a change in the brain that does not make it addictive.
Not everyone who uses porn is an addict. Even people who have had problems with porn are not necessarily addicts. You act as if every teenaged boy who ever viewed a dirty movie has some sort of porn addiction.
I can tell you it's addictive. Ask any young man or man if they've tried to give it up if they had withdrawl symptoms. I've posted countless links that show it is indeed an addiction if you let it get there.

I don't know if I agree with that. I started a "healthy" (no std, no preg) sex life at 14, my gf was 14 and there are tons and tons of examples of people who did the same.. I suspect you yourself might be one of them.

You have not posted good scientific studies. Professionals do not agree on whether it is an addiction, or a compulsion.
I can tell you that I am infact addicted. I'm in the middle of trying to get away from it and the urges are just like trying to give up drinking. Which I successfully achieved three years ago and still have done to this day.

Professionals do not agree that it is an addiction, although it is clearly compulsive behavior. I think you are projecting your experience with porn to the general population. Not all porn users are compulsive or addicted.
Still not a risk we should take lightly, especially when it comes to our kids.
I agree but the OP is suggesting that we can either choose that our young teens view porn OR have sex. Real life is not that simple. Young teens should not be doing either.
