what? i don't have a specific data set i'm referring to. i was just saying that just because group A can be far more likely than group B to exhibit a certain characteristic, it doesn't mean that most members of group A will have the aforementioned trait.

My late husband was left by his mother at 6.
I can tell you first hand of all the emotional damage that action
creates..

are you really this....challenged? YES! i did pull numbers out of the air. my illustration was meant to show that just because one group is more likely to do something than another group, it does not mean that most members of the first group exhibits that trait.

how in the world did you stumble to the conclusion that i was putting forward those numbers as valid male vs female child abandonment statistics? :facepalm:

You are the one just making numbers and facts up to support your opinion. Usually, on message boards, people don't post numbers unless they actually represent a fact.
