Blazah - I'm a woman. Just for the record.

Wmsn4Life - Are you saying we're blaming Mom? I thought we were doing the exact opposite! We're explaining how the culture is negatively influencing kids. I actually think genetics play a large role in how a person "turns out". But I do not see how genetics accounts for a young boy asking to watch young girls make out so that he can document and distribute it. I don't think he's genetically programmed to do that. I think he may have gotten the idea from our porn soaked culture.

There is no fool proof 100% effective parenting method that will prevent that internalization from manifesting in events like the one described in the OP.
Then there's the rest, ^^ which contradicts the original statement.

It just wasn't clear.

Right. The part where I say I blame the parents is saying, sure I blame parents, in that they are members of our society. A teeny tiny minority of Americans are taking a stand against the proliferation of filth. Everyone else is part of the problem.

We don't even know this was a real-life event.

All we have is a two sentence post by the OP and a further "explanation" by a poster who frequently starts these threads himself. There was a claim that two girls were asked to make out and the thread has progressed to blaming pornography and parents.

Funny how quickly we rush to judgement (and assume the worst) on zero evidence.

Well with trailblazer blazing the trail with these types of threads it turns into a whole bunch of parent and technology bashing. Save the children from technology and ban it all and the world will be at peace apparently.

When I was in 6th grade, 16 years ago, kids were kissing.

What do you expect with kids and technology?

The tech has changed but the actions are the same. I remember kids "daring" each to do things like this when I was young. It's mostly typical but can escallate quickly if certian personality types are involved. Some people don't know when to say "when", if you know what I mean.
