Awards Season - Elementary School Version

The sad thing is, this stuff has been going on for so long, you'd think the schools would wise up and just discontinue the whole mess.

During the school year we have assemblies and different kids are recognized at each assembly but I doubt every kid gets an award. However we had one terrific second grade teacher who passed out kooky awards at the end of the year party and every kid got something to take home. Best Socks, Most Talented, Loudest Booster, Funniest Doodler are some I remember. And the kids voted on them so they were so excited to praise their friends.
