My son is 6 months old and we are flying for the fist time tomorrow. Don't hate me if your on our flight, I'll try to make it so he doesn't cry. I am still packing, but I have the pacifiers ready to go. Luckily it is a short ride and it is early in the morning at 6.

make sure he is eating or sucking on something during the take off, and the landing it can be hard on the little guys heads with the pressure.

Good advise! The air pressure can be painful for them but can be avoided if they are sucking---just like you or I chewing gum when we go to the higher elevations like up in the mountains.

6 months is a great time to travel. It's once they are crawling/walking and want to get off your lap that it gets harder!

Something that people don't understand. Even driving through the mountains your kids tend to be grumpy. Kids ears don't pop like yours and mind do. Pressure builds and they hurt. So give them things to suck on, to slurp on, to drink, etc and their ears will pop and relieve the pressure.
