Anyone have a book series for boys age range 6-7 years old? I know about Magic Tree house, but please tell me some others that little boys love.

Thanks!

Want something just for laughs but teaches them about how people are different? Fannie K Stein Mad Scientist series, it is a chapter book and talks about a little girl whom just doesn't belong.

Encyclopedia Brown? I give them to my friends' 10-year old (English is not his first language). Maybe Encyclopedia Brown would also be good?

Also, DO NOT BUY BOOKS. Check out dozens at a time from the library.

Hardy boys and Tom swift went over well with our kids at that age (more 7-8, 6 is a little young). The books are really out of date, but they still enjoyed them. Harry Potter is pretty easy to read and they liked it. The later ones get a little dark, but the first one is ok.

How to eat fried worms is fun.

Captain Underpants.

The Diary of a Wimpy Kid series is good too.
