No. When it comes to recreational sports and activities, I believe children learn far more and gain a much deeper insight into the dynamics of such through experienced peers and getting out and doing it on their own.

Plus the $75 IMO would provide more bang if applied to a board for said kid.
My kids took a short free demo lesson when they were 6 and 9. I'd consider spending the money if they were interested. We'd probably all do it together.

I've been too involved in politics lately. I could have sworn I read Stand Up Water Boarding and was thinking "Is this some kind of new Political Reality Class in school?" So glad I was wrong.
There is a class offered for kids to learn Stand Up Paddle Boarding. It's $75 for three one hour sessions.
