Shaken baby is when they are shaken so forcefully that their brain rocks inside their skull and gets damaged. I don't think a child shaking his head himself can recreate that force. And if he's old enough to shake it 'so violently', he has probably developed stronger membranes that hold the brain in place. If you're still concerned, look up info about Shaken Baby Syndrome.
