Heh, everyone has an anecdote to support anything. I have fed 2 babies - 1st one by formula only except 1st week, 2nd one by breastfeeding only. The formula baby was sick constantly, the breastfed baby doesn't even get the flu when everyone else does.
I've heard breastfeeding makes the weight drop off but I've been stuck at the same weight for 16 months now. It's easy to lose weight, I can cut calories to 1800, but after 3 days I'm just starving again and could eat for 4 people. I wonder if it will get better when he is fully weaned???
