Okay. Just wondering. Can you hook this up to a generator and produce electricity?? Now that would be pretty cool. LOL! Actually, seen that and its an awesome idea.

My husband would split his spleen if I bought that for our almost 4 year old, lol. That's all we need, another excuse for him to sit in front of the TV. Our teenagers are obsessed with TV/Computer/video games, and now my husband is trying to shield our 4 year old from technology.

I can understand. My kids are only allowed so much a day. I make them go outside if they have been trying to be couch potatos or tech junkies. I like this product because, yes, they are in front of the tv, but they are active the entire time - because riding the bike is what operates the game. It is very educational, not brain wasting. It is a tool to use for a child this age to ready them for kindergarden. Technology has its advantages, if utilized right.

I agree with your response. If they are on a bike, like one on an exercise bike, what's the big deal? You or some people do, exercise and watch t.v. I couldn't think of it as a "typical" sit in front of the t.v. video game.

We got our 5 year old the fisher price camera and mp3 player for her bday in august. They are both easy to use and the younger kids should be able to use them. I LOVE the FP3 player from fisher price - you can download stories from their web site for fairly cheap and my little one will sit and color and listen to the story.....

Geo Traxs from fisher price! We got this for our son when he was 3 for Christmas, he's almost 6 and plays with it everyday! We add to it every year so there is always something fresh about the train set. You can take it apart, and set it up in different ways each time. The tracks are made for little hands to be able to take apart and put back together. It gets their imagination running and they can build a whole city! With the parts that my son has, he and hubby make Boston and the bridges to Cape. They even put in the BIg Dig!!!

if you go to the toys r us website you can narrow it down by age and boy or girl also does he believe in santa you could have him make out a list for santa of what he wants and pick from there
