I saw her tonight at a game and when a girl passed with one with the elephants, I aksed if that was the one she liked so much and it was......

Yes, Pirate Girl, I remember standing in line or going store to store for the hot game system, the transformers, the zip zaps....a specific Elmo.....for my sons.

Charo- I guess I should try E-bay again. I had a bad experience with it once and never went back. She's wanted this for four months, so I'm sure she will use it for the rest of the year. And we can use it when we travel after that.
The only problem with ebay at this point in time is that you may or may not get it in time for Christmas. If that isn't an issue, then go for it! With ebay, if you pay with paypal your money is always protected. I ordered a purse on ebay that was marked as real and it was fake. The seller wouldn't refund my money but paypal did. I've never had any unfixable problems with ebay. This is an obvious suggestion, but have you googled it to see where you can get it?

The pink background is probably last years' color or from the spring/summer line. I would suggest you go with the black background since it comes from the fall/winter 2007 collection. http://www.verabradley.com/Site/Stor....aspx?Sku=187&

After Christmas, I'm sure all the girls are going to come to school with the black background Just my opinion.

I FOUND IT!

I was wrong about the pink background- they never existed. Pirate Girl hooked me up with Artsy Abode in Jax. It's been paid for and is awaiting pick-up...my kind of shopping. Thank you everyone!
