Look for sales at places like Target that allow you to use a store coupon as well as a manufacturer coupon for the same item.

Make sure that you get the brand your children prefer though. Parents often find that a particular brand works best for them in terms of sizing or leakage.

If you have a Costc or a Sam's Club, they usually sell them @ a better price per unit.

Before I switched to cloth diapers, I found an Amazon mom membership with subscribe and save generally gave the best price on brand name disposable diapers.

^^^ This. I cloth diaper, but I do keep disposables on hand for if we go out of town or if we are going to be out of the house for an extended period of time (I don't really want a bag of poopy diapers on me or in my car if we are going to be out and about all day) and I also found that Amazon Mom has great deals!

Agree with this. Costco/Kirkland brand are good - not sure which name brand they are (they are higher quality than Luvs but Luvs work fine for us) but generally run about $0.25 each for the size 4 and 5 diapers, with Amazon Mom Subscribe and Save the Luvs brand (sizes 3-5) ended up being between $0.17-$0.21 per diaper shipped. So not a huge amount of difference between the two but those two are the best prices I've found, occasionally Costco will have an instant $5 off diapers which makes them a better deal.

Costco (Kirkland) diaper wipes are the best. They are large, clothlike, and amazing for cleaning during diaper changes, messy things around the house or car, and sticky hands and faces while out.

Cloth diapers are great if you have a good wetbag, plus if you get the ones with the removable liners the shell has a thin piece of cloth and a waterproof layer. This works well as not only a swim diaper but if the kids go to daycare when potty training they can wear that instead of having to use those horrible plastic pants/covers when transitioning out of diapers (at least at the one mine go to).

Make sure you ask the parents what brand to buy. Some kids react badly to certain diaper brands or wipes, or they just leak.

We get diapers from Costco because the Huggies work fine for us. Other people hate using Huggies due to them not fitting their particular child.
