Hi, Im a new parent and I've been searching for a new center to take my 12 month old. I am not satisfied with my current provider and I jus would like some assistance on how I should choose my next one. I don't want to over pay or under pay because my child is my everything; but I am doing this alone HELP PLEASE
Go with your gut. Most are very near each other on price.
How I chose my girls' preschool came down to as simple as when I asked when I could visit, they told me whenever I wanted to. Others gave specific days and times.
I was sold when they said "our doors may be locked but they're always open".
Make a list of what is important to you in a pre-school/day care setting.
Meet with the center director, and talk to them about any quesitons or concerns that you have.
Take a look at their daily schedule
What are the other teachers in the center like? How long have they been there?
What about background checks?
Do they have an open door policy?
Before you enroll your child, can you stop by at any time?
