I'm honored to have been asked to be the godmother to my cousin's daughter, who will be born next month. I'd like to send a gift to the baby when she is born - any ideas? I'd like to send something spiritual, or a special keepsake.

Visit a Christian store and see what they have. Maybe a stuffed animal that plays a Christian song or says a prayer.

Have you asked the parents?

Our son got some money, as well as a religious plaque for his bedroom wall, a cross, and some toys. You could also get a children's Bible.

I got a children's bible from my godparents, with a written inscription. I used to read through it all the time as I was growing up.

I still have it, and I'm 46!
