19 and 20 years old. Married right after Mom graduated from HS--I was born 9 months later

A year after that I had a sibling. By the time my parents were 26 and 27 they had 4 kids. I didn't even have one at that age and can't imagine it....

Dad was 35, mom was 32. I was their firstborn and that was not usual for the 1960s.

My mother was 21, going on 22, when she gave birth to me on 22 August 1987 (she would have turned 22 in the upcoming December). She gave birth to my sister at 19, going on 20, in 1985.

My father was 27 and 25 respectively.

Seems unusual for a Gen X mother to have two Millennial children (she turns 50 this year).

Mum was 32 and dad was 33. One natural brother born two years previously. Other 3 brothers were adopted because they had infertility problems (undiagnosed coeliac disease - after going on the diet for a while she was fertile again, amazing!) hence having us so late (they started trying years before they had my brother)

Why would you feel bad about that? There's nothing wrong with being born to young parents and in any event, you didn't have anything to do with it.

Mom was 20.
Dad was 22.
They were 18 and 20 when they had my older sister.

I was 27 when I had my first, and my husband was 30. Two years later we had our second.

My sister was 40 when she had her first, and her husband was 44. Almost three years later they had their second.

My grandmother was already a grandmother by 40.

How quickly things change in just a couple generations.
