Sounds like she's been generous enough to let your boyfriend move into her home. Does paying your own way include paying both your shares of all the bills, including rent, utilities, cable, food, etc?
Maybe if you two move out, it will motivate her to get her act together. Anyway, if she is healthy and capable of supporting herself, there is no reason to feel bad about not continuing to help her.
