You're all adults and most of you probably live in neighborhoods so maybe you guys might have the answers.
K so the other day DB and I were relaxing at home when the police showed up at our house saying that a shepherd had been reported chasing a child down the street.
Our dog was inside on the bed with us.
Since we don't have a fence and people speed down our street our dogs are rarely allowed out front and only go outside with one of us. I am so paranoid since we don't have a fence that these dogs are never outside without supervision, ever.
So when the cop left we went outside and it's our other neighbors black and white BORDER COLLIE running loose.
I want to confront the neighbors who called the police and explain that it's the neighbors border collie that chased their child and to please not send the police to our house again. I plan on showing them what exactly my dog looks like and explain to them the dogs are never allowed out of our sight.
Then I want to go to the neighbors with the border collie and tell them they need to keep their animals on their property.
We already deal with their cats coming on to our property and getting into our trash and tearing into our packages we have sent to our house. Last was vape juice.
They destroy our property.
Now because of their dogs they illegally allow to run amuck we've got the police showing up at our house.
I'm at my wits end with this whole street of people.
(Last year or year before that we had a trespassing incident and some mentally ill man was on our property asking for the police telling us he did something bad.)
He doesn't think we should say anything and I would like to make it known we keep to ourselves and want no part of this streets issues.
I plan on being as polite as possible about this but he just thinks we should leave it alone.
Their adult son just moved back home with his pregnant wife and kid and it's their dog.
This dog has been an issue since they moved back home with the guys parents who have lived there.
I foresee more issues if I don't put my foot down.
