I don't see how 'Randy' is feminine sounding. Is it because of the '-y'? That doesn't differentiate if from Andy or Barry or Jimmy and I don't see how any of those are feminine.
The name 'Randy' is short for Randall/Randolf, unequivocally masculine names. And 'Randi' is the feminine version of 'Randy', so it should sound feminine.

I think anymore Randy is pretty much a girl's nickname...haven't heard of a young boy called Randy in decades.
Have you ever met a male named Lindsay? Ezra? Tesla? Angel?
What other names can you think of that males have had, which you expected to be female names?
Ezra has a long history as a boy's name, it originates from a Jewish Biblical priest. Naming a girl Ezra would definitely be the unusual usage. I've only known male Angels, it's pretty common in Latin cultures, which I live around. I've heard of a few men named Lindsey, but they are mostly older, same with male Lesleys, Danas, and Shannons. I have a male friend named Loren, the spelling is more masculine, but it's pronounced the same as Lauren.
I know women named Ryan, Kyle, Stewart, Bryson, Casey, James, and Connor. All are in their mid to late 20s.
I know men named Kelly, Lindsay, Dana, and McKenzie. McKenzie (started going by Mac when it got popular) is the only one under 40.
