While reading your sad story, I was also thinking about why you haven't gone to court to make sure she can't move outside X amount of miles. I've worked with many clients who had to limit the areas they could live because they couldn't be more than 50 miles or 250 miles away from their ex per a court order.

You need to stabilize yourself and the only want to do that is to not follow, but to also get them to stabilize. While you're at it, maybe court ordered counseling for the child.

I was thinking the same thing. Why not get a court order trying to keep her in a location? I would also think he could argue parental alienation due to her constant moving which he can't keep up with and her desire to have other men be called "dad" and he is relegated to an "uncle"

I hate to say this, but the OP needs to get back into a courtroom with a good lawyer and fight. There's no reason he should have to put up with this.

OP, where is your custody case originally decided? What state?

How long ago was the last decision made?

There is so much more to this... but, obviously something has fallen through the cracks or the story isn't adding up. Most states will reverse custody decisions if a child is being moved outside of the school district they've been established in.

It seems to me you're looking for us to validate your position of "giving up" on the child because there has been a distance created between you and the child. I personally won't validate that, but I believe there is much more going on than what has been said.
