My 5 year old boy just got into k, he showed bad behaviors at school on daily basis, including screaming, crawing on floor when he insist to do something and seems he can not control himself in motion. We would like to make assessment on him , but have no idea how to start. Advise is highly appreciated

You probably need to have him evaluated for disability issues, autism spectrum disorders, etc. start with your family physicians, pediatricians, for referrals. Some school districts may provide good referrals on social service type things as well.

If the above doesn't work, use a switch a few times. Worked on me and my friends.

I wonder if he simply too young/not mature enough for kindergarten yet. Did he do any preschool or pre K?

Does he show similar behavior at home? Like the above post said, maybe he is just too young and not used to school. I would not want to "label" my child if it is just a phase in his life.

Read this story: http://ontasknaturally.com/story/

I started my 4 year old son on magnesium in June and took away artificial colors. His temperament changed a lot. We're still working on aggression, but that's just another stepping stone. The vitamins in the above link are supposed to help with that, and we've been doing it for 4 days. He talks calmer, but until he's home on the weekend, I won't really know. All I hear is from teachers about his behavior during the week, and he has a brand new teacher that started this week, so I can't get feedback on any changes as she doesn't know the "before" verse the current behavior.

I refuse to get him tested for ADHD or ADD or anything else as I don't want him labeled so young. Many young boys are active and they outgrow those aggressions, and I don't want a label on him the rest of his life because of the way he acted when he was 4, so just be careful if you take him to get him tested. It will be in his record his entire life.

Call his doctor. His doctor should be able to give you a referral to a behavioral specialist to have him evaluated.
