Giving a bad review could mean " hidden danger" or "not worth the hassle."
Yep. It really doesn't matter who's at fault; if it happens frequently and is an unexpected consequence (as opposed to say, falling off of a bike) then people will comment on it.

Having burrs caught in horse manes before I cannot believe anyone would intentionally give their child something akin to burrs. Allow me to recommend WD40 to assist in the detangling.

My dog has gotten burrs caught between his toes and under his arm pits...awful, awful, awful. I would not buy this, even if I had annoying nieces or nephews (I have nieces and nephews, but they are not too annoying! I was, however, the aunt who bought the super loud toys for them when they were toddlers! ).

So Wrigleys should get bad reviews for the mounds of gum stuck in children's hair over the last few decades?

If Wrigleys decides to market itself as a toy for 4 yr olds to play with, where, even if playing appropriately , it could inadvertently end up in their hair, then yes.

I saw the commercial quite a few times. I saw nothing about ages and all of the kids in the commercial look like they are at least 9 years old, if not older. I don't see where the manufacturer marketed to four year olds other than saying the toy is appropriate for ages 4+.
We can agree to disagree on the definition of playing appropriately. I don't see how a child gets dozens, DOZENS, of these things stuck in her hair if playing appropriately.
The TX mom who says she spent 3 hours getting these things out of her daughter's and two friends' hair (then called ABC news), was seated next to her smiling daughter who said, "It sounded fun, so we threw Bunchems on each other."

I see.
Yes but there are countless online reviews where much less "sinister" things happened to get them stuck in kids hair. Anyways, come on now...it looks like a fun toy. It's an imagination toy. What kid is going to go "oh I see here on the box it might get stuck in my hair. Let me make sure to tie my hair back and only play with this item while I sit properly at the table"?
I appreciate the warnings. I still got them for my kids. We'll make a point to be careful now whereas I might not have thought of it, had I not seen the videos.
