I would make peace with the idea of a gay-porn-loving, gay son. Roughly 40% of humanity are completely heterosexual. The other 60% are some other flavor of sexuality, ranging from completely homosexual to having the occasional gay fantasy.
Your son has enough on his plate without having to worry about what his parents think about him. Whether you love him or not, judgment could ruin the kid at this stage. My hometown was full of homosexuals who left home far too early because of their parents' attitudes. (And also full of homosexuals who moved simply because my hometown is FABULOUS.)
And give that kid the rundown about STDs and how to avoid them, FAST.
I am a loving and concerned mom, I recently got my 13 yr old a newer updated phone. I maybe go through his phone once a week, just to make sure he is not doing anything he is not supposed too! & my son is ok with me doing this. One day last week, I happened to go through his internet history, I never done this before until now!!! & I see three sites that he went too. Gay porn (man on man) and amine gay porn (man on man) and cartoon gay porn (man on man) I freaked out, I did not know what to say or think, I did not want to mention this to his dad, because he would have not liked seeing this what so ever. So, I waited all day until I picked him up from school to ask him about the sites that I saw on his phone. He started to cry & I told him, I love you & I want yo to be happy, love has no color or no gender, I asked him if he liked girls or boys and he said that he did not know! He was like I am curious! I asked do you like both?? He said he did not know. I told him in confidence that I will love him no matter what & I will always be his mom, I have not told his dad, because I am not sure how his dad will react! I need some advice please! Is my son gay or bi or just curious?? Should I tell his dad or wait to even say anything to his dad until my son is honest with him self and me
I would be more upset about the porn than the fact that it's gay oriented. Some people are gay (meh...it happens). He also could just be curious. But porn is definitely not something I'd want a child exposed to (pardon the pun). It's an unhealthy way to view other people, both literally and figuratively.

Straight folks are more likely to view this behavior as 'questioning' or inconclusive, but, yeah, he's almost certainly gay.

OP does not have to respect her son's privacy when he is online. Absolutely not. Good parents do keep tabs on what their child is doing online.
OP, I would not ask your son again about his sexual preferences. It may give him a complex no matter what his orientation is. As far as porn goes, you should address that and be honest with him about your feelings on it. Good luck.
Same thing kids have been doing with magazines, video tapes and books for years! Its just worse because the ease with which they can access really bad ****.
He's gay. If it was mixed in with straight porn I would not say that. He's queerer than a three dollar bill. By 13 what sex you are attracted to is pretty much set.

When I watched porn, it was almost always lesbian porn and I am not gay. I read somewhere that the largest audience of female on female porn were straight females. OP please don't listen to these guys. What one prefers for porn isn't always what one prefers in real life. Porn is about sex. Sexual orientation is about a LOT more than that.
