It was shorter than the children so they could reach inside and get the toys themselves then put them away when they were done with them.......

everyone is different...no right amount. we buy our children appx. 6 new toys each per year. they keep them and sometimes trade with friends...and it adds up, quickly! they have about 3 large totes of toys, 2 4x3 ft bookcases packed with books and a tablet each. they dont complain. their toys are comprised mostly of building blocks, dolls, puzzles, food sets and stuffed animals.
