This is obviously a fake post as nobody can be that short sighted to name their son Pink. I'm not wasting another second of my time on such nonsense.

Terrible, terrible names for a child. Rosita's not awful, but unless you are hispanic/latino, it makes one think of Rosarita, a popular Mexican food brand.

It's very selfish to saddle a child with a name which will almost certainly cause them pain. Why would you want your children to be the object of ridicule on an almost daily basis until they are finally old enough to change their name to something less weird?

Its funny, just last week an employee of mine told me what her mom wanted to name her before settling on a more traditional name. It was a hideous mixture of several names. I actually thought (but didn't say out loud) that if I had seen her application with that name on it, I would have just skimmed past her. I hate to admit that, but its honest. When you have 10 applications for one job that all meet the requirement, you make some snap judgements...names being one of them. I have hired many people over the years and many people with international names...so it isn't that. Its...I don't know, I guess a stigma associated with made up or very odd names. Maybe not fair, because we don't pick our names (usually). But its honest feedback.

OP, are you aware that the name you give your children can either start them out in life at a deficit or on even grounding?

Thats why it's important to be sober and completely off the drugs when thinking of the name of your child.

You do realize that Pink as a boys name is very old-fashioned. It was popular from 1880 to 1909 (the last year it was in the top 1000 boys names and only 1% of boys had that name that year). I have never met anyone named Pink. It is the name of a character in The Wall. Also, Pink Anderson, the blues singer's real first name was Pinkney. He was born in 1900 and died in 1974. The name, btw, has nothing to do with the color pink. It is derived from the surname Pinkney which came from the name of a German town, Pincinos town.

I really think that this would be a very odd choice for a name today.

You could possibly go with Carmine for a boy, it's close.
I actually know a guy who goes by Pinky, but he's a big guy, really big.
